of Use
Last updated August 30, 2026. These terms cover the Line It Up app and lineitup40.com, run by Matadi Group LLC.
Using the app or the site means you accept these terms. Entering an event also means you accept the participant agreement and the official rules.
Your account
- You need an account to enter an event, claim a past result, or have a profile. Browsing the event, the bracket, the board and the record book needs no account.
- Give real information. Entering under a false name, or as someone else, voids the entry and any result.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself.
- One account per person. Officials may merge or remove duplicates.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time, under Profile. See the privacy policy for what deletion does and does not remove.
Video you send
- Send only video you filmed or have the right to send, showing the run you say it shows.
- You keep ownership of your video. You give Line It Up permission to store it, review it, time it, and show it to officials, and to use it in coverage and promotion of the event as described in the participant agreement.
- Altered, sped up, edited or misrepresented video is cheating. It voids the entry and can cost you the event.
- Do not send video of anyone who has not agreed to appear, and do not send anything unlawful.
Times, results and officials
A time the app produces from your video is a screening time. It is never an official result. It helps officials rank entries and pick the field. Only a 40 run at a live Line It Up event, timed by officials, is official and ranked.
Officials decide entry, seeding, times, conduct and results, and their decisions are final. Line It Up may correct or remove a time or a result that turns out to be wrong.
Fair use of the app
Do not attempt to break, probe, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the app or its database. Do not impersonate an official. Do not use the app to harass anyone. Accounts that do get closed.
What we promise, and what we do not
The app and the site are provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind. Times, standings, brackets, schedules and notifications can be wrong, late or unavailable. Do not rely on the app as your only source of anything that matters to you.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Matadi Group LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the site, and its total liability for any claim connected with the app or the site is limited to what you paid to use it, which is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and injuries at an event are covered by the participant agreement, not by this section.
Prizes and payments
Entry is free. Prizes are announced per event and paid to the winner at or after the event. Winners are responsible for any taxes and may be asked for the information needed to pay them. The app does not sell anything and does not take payments.
Other people's stuff
Line It Up, the wordmark, the bolt mark and the site and app design belong to Matadi Group LLC. The app links to services it does not control, including video hosting and maps, and is not responsible for them. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, any Line It Up event.
Changes and ending
These terms can change. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new date, and continuing to use the app means accepting them. Line It Up may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and may stop offering the app.
The rest
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Travis County, Texas.
- If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest still stands.
