The Format

Win, or go home

No second chances. Two runners. One straight 40. The faster sprinter advances. The other is done. We run two brackets side by side, men's and women's, until one champion is left in each.

Head to head

Every race is 1v1. You line up beside one opponent and settle it over 40 yards. Cleanest format in the sport. First across wins.

Single elimination

16 per bracket: Round of 16, quarters, semis, final. One loss ends your day. Four clean wins and you're the last sprinter standing.

Two champions

Men's and women's brackets run in parallel. Each crowns its own winner, and each winner takes home an identical $1,000.

How to Enter

Tape it. Send it. Toe the line.

Film one clean 40 from the sideline of a marked field. We run every submission through our timing system, and the fastest 16 in each bracket get the call.

  1. Set up on a marked field

Find a marked football field. Put your camera on the sideline, side on to your run, framed so the entire 40 yards stays in shot.

  2. Line up and pause

Walk to the starting line and hold a full two second pause so we can see your stance, then go.

  3. Run the full 40

Sprint the complete 40 yards at maximum effort, one continuous take, all of it in frame.

  4. Trim to just the 40

Cut the clip down to only the sprint. No excess recording before or after. Then upload it with the form below.

Submitting your video is free. If you're selected for a bracket, there's a $50 fee to lock your spot and compete. We'll send payment details by email when you make the 16.
